GPS app on lap
iPad + S90 combo is way better than iPhone but latter is handier during short lulls in the action
Tim and Eduardo currently doing 20 minute pulls
The 8 men team do 4 (four!) minute pulls. Think about that.

Temperature: high 96f near Brawley. Low 55F last night (I can't remember where we were then)
Navigation/GPS is working really well for me at least and also for the vehicles I believe
Yes got a camera connection kit from my iPal
Communications
Captain Comm was Raoul that day. But that headset wirelessly talks to a PA on the van roof. Unfortunately battery lasts 6 hours and darkness lasts 11 hours. I just liked the picture.

CB handsets which work really well if certain riders hook them up in the first place

Sally and Joel's bullhorn which I thought I fixed before we left (corroded terminal) but now doesn't
So right now we are following Tim and it's dusk and none of the systems seem to be working. Shouting out the window just doesn't cut it

We had major confusion in follow van for a few hours after we were out of cell phone service. Funny thing, everything worked just fine without us

Location:Hwy 89 still!
Chasing to Sedona
Follow van and operators are in action - now we have to find everyone. Sedona is where we think they and we are speeding there ASAP ie not necessarily the bile route.
The scheduled 5:30pm team exchange may have to be pulled in.
This whole guessing where to exchange is not a science or, apparently, an art.
