early start from Big Cave Lodge. 4hr drive to Geat Zimbabwe.
Beautiful day. excellent ruins. Very little on-site information except in the really well layed out museum. No photos allowed so no record of the really good information. The museum is really outstanding.

The site was populated with a class from Makuro University, a middle school and a primary school. The primary school kids returned to their large school bus in the parking lot. Everyone on board. Bus quiet then all windows flung open and all the trash simulataneously got thrown out of every window. Obviously the teacher had declared clean-up time.
Drive on to nearby Norma-Jean's guest house. Very chintzy english type cottages. Stunningly lush gardens overlooking lake. All very pleasant.
