it was dark dark for the 30 mile drive into town but the wooden buildings have that distint Raffelian look. with the fan palms as well it could be singapore.
the Cara Lodge (aka Woodbine House) is a stunning example.

taxi met us ok but took us to Cara Lodge instead of Hermanston Lodge. Confusion reigned for a while.
